New Delhi, June 8 (UNI) Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Thursday inaugurated the Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University’s (IPU) of East Campus in Delhi’s Surajmal Vihar.

The state-of-the-art facility is set to revolutionise higher education in India with its cutting-edge infrastructure and comprehensive amenities. The IPU East Campus, equipped with two nine and seven-story academic blocks, a central library, an incubation center, lecture theatres, modern classrooms, an auditorium, an indoor sports hall, and a residential complex, promises to provide an exceptional learning environment for students, the CM’s office communiqué said.

Kejriwal stated that children will be taught automation, design, artificial intelligence, machine learning, data management, and innovation here.
He emphasised the commitment of the Delhi government to offer world-class education and ensure that more than 2,400 students can benefit from the exceptional facilities available at the Campus.
Addressing the need for quality education across all sections of society, he said, “We have developed an efficient system to provide quality education to even the poorest of the poor up to the 12th class; we have to now replicate it in higher education.”, it said.

The CM dedicated the East Campus to the nation and said that the facilities provided over here are some of the best in the country.
“It will not be incorrect to say that from an architectural point of view and from the point of view of facilities that will be provided over here to the students, perhaps this can be counted as one of the best campuses in the country.
"For this purpose I would like to congratulate the people of the country as students from all across the nation will come to study in this excellent campus. I would like to congratulate the people of Delhi and particularly those from East Delhi as this is the first such campus in the region,” he said.
